SMAira SETHI

My name is Samaira Sethi, and I am from South Brunswick, New Jersey. I am a senior at South Brunswick High School and have been part of the Asha for Education Princeton chapter since 2020. This program is very special to me because I love giving back to the underprivileged children of India every year. Every student deserves a proper, complete education regardless of their economic status. This program has helped many children and keeps getting more known each year. The educational opportunities change many children’s lives, and I’m happy to take part in making that possible. I am a part of the marketing team in the Princeton Chapter, and we are responsible for promoting the event. Being a part of Asha For Education for four years has strengthened my bond with the various other members and improved my leadership skills.

In addition to being a teen volunteer at Asha, I have been playing golf for 5-6 years and part of the DECA club. I am very passionate about these two things, and DECA has helped my communication skills immensely; it has prepared me for going into the field of business. In my free time, I love hanging out with friends and family, golfing, and swimming.
