Asha For Education Princeton Walk/Run 2026

ABOUT THE EVENT:

Asha for education, Princeton is excited to host our Annual charity Walk / Run event on October 25th in 2026!

Run or walk with us to support a great cause. You have shown amazing support through rain or shine all these years, and we cannot wait to see our community come together again.

As in the past, we continue to offer a hybrid event: An in-person walk / run event as well as a virtual run. However, your physical presence makes all the difference. We will all have a vibrant gathering at the tranquil North Brunswick Community Park. Our in-person event includes some post-race treats with light refreshments at the finish line. For those preferring a more secluded experience, join us virtually from your own neighborhood or anywhere worldwide.

Spread the excitement and rally more supporters to join us. We highly recommend pre-registering using the links below for a seamless experience. Every penny that you donate goes towards supporting projects that are funded by Asha for Education, Princeton Chapter.

Asha for Education is a volunteer-powered, non-profit organization that operates without a hierarchy. We firmly believe in the transformative power of education for socio-economic change. Since our inception in 1991, we have raised over $22 million and supported more than 800 projects, positively impacting thousands of underprivileged children in India.

Get ready to push your limits and run with passion for the Asha for Education, Princeton Chapter! Challenge yourself and be a part of something incredible!

FAQ:
1. What does a hybrid event mean?

We have two choices. One being an in-person Walk/Run event and the other being a Virtual Walk/Run. The Virtual one is for all those in other states or countries who would like to participate or are unavailable on the race day.

2. What does the Virtual runner have to do?

Virtual candidate can Walk/Run on the same day, October 12th or any day till October 31 st, at his/her own neighborhood or anywhere he/she feels like. After the Walk/Run is over, he/she will send a screen shot of the total miles that he/she walked or ran and send to [email protected]

3. Can kids participate in the event?

The donation for Kids under 5 yrs is $5.

4. Why should I register?

Participating in this event will not only help combat stress and provide you with a fitness goal during these current times, but it will help bring hope to children in India. Participating in this event can keep you fit and help the underprivileged at the same time. You can benefit yourself by making this event interesting for yourself by enjoying the beautiful scenic
setting of North Brunswick Community park amidst nature or virtually or both.

5. How do I get more information?

You will get periodic emails from [email protected] motivating you and giving any additional information. Alternatively, you can login to Asha Princeton’s Instagram page id @ashaforedu for further details and our Facebook page “Asha for Education Princeton Chapter”.
