My name is Arushi Ravula and I’ve been volunteering with ASHA for two years! I’m currently a senior at South Brunswick Highschool and I’m excited for what the future holds. My volunteer experience has been truly eye-opening and continues to broaden my perspective of what it means to support a cause.

Being a part of both the MC team and the marketing team I have been able to hone various skills including my ability to network, better my fundraising and marketing strategies, and overall improve my interpersonal skills. Volunteering with ASHA has been so rewarding and I feel proud of the work that I’ve contributed. Over the past two years I’ve been actively involved in increasing marketing media reach and coordinating event logistics and I’m proud to have played a role in making the final walk/run event a success. It’s heartwarming to know that together, we are taking steps towards providing a brighter future for countless children in need of better educational opportunities.
