My name is Arav Ravula and I am from South Brunswick, New Jersey. I’m a senior at South Brunswick High School and have been volunteering as a part of Asha for Education Princeton Chapter since 2022. I believe that education is vital to becoming the best version of yourself possible and it should be available to everyone regardless of background and situation. At Asha, we have contributed to making education accessible through fundraising events and raising awareness about the issue.

I have worked as a part of the entertainment team and finish line team at our yearly run/walk event. Working with the team each year is fun and has taught me valuable interpersonal skills. It has also taught me about working through setbacks and overcoming challenges. Seeing people show up each year, despite the conditions, to better themselves and contribute to the cause is incredibly inspiring. I hope Asha continues to grow and impact more lives in the future.
